However, this will be possible only if someone solves the following three problems.
Global warming leading to mass extinction.
Artificial Super-intelligence ( ASI ) exterminating humanity.
Artificial General Intelligence ( AGI ) making everyone a jobless beggar.
Who will solve these problems?
You and only you can solve these problems. Big-tech, tech-billionaires, and the politicians simply cannot even if they want to, as described later.
If you don't solve these problems, you can expect the following outcome.
A business that employs humans will go out of business because AI workers costing a few cents an hour will be able to do all jobs better than humans.
Businesses will have no choice but to get rid of human employees.
Everyone will be jobless.
If everyone is jobless, there will be no one to buy the products the AI workers will be making.
If there is no one to buy the products, all consumer businesses will go out of business.
If all consumer businesses go out of business, who will hire AI workers?

The big-tech is taking humanity towards a path of extreme poverty, not extreme prosperity.
In an interview Geoffrey Hinton, the father of Artificial Intelligence says : “The extremely rich will become even more extremely rich”.
But what will happen to the rest of us?
We will all become extremely poor.
And wait, there is more trouble on the way.
The AI developers will not be content with developing Artificial General Intelligence ( AGI ) even though every job is being done by AI workers with just the IQ of ordinary humans. They want to invent Artificial Super-intelligence ( ASI ) - a sentient being with an IQ a million times that of Einstein.
The stupidity of the AI developers is beyond belief.
They hope that a being with an IQ a million times that of Einstein will work for us along with horses, bullocks, elephants, and sled dogs.
Try to convince your own teenager, or even a 3 year old child to follow your orders.
Their excuse is that we are the ones designing these machines, so we could align their morals with human morals.
First try to align your kids morals with yours. For example, President Ronald Reagan was a believer, but his son Ron Reagan is a very vocal atheist.
And also, why would ASI not treat low intelligence humans just as we treat lower intelligence animals - feed them in meat grinders, make them pets, or keep them in zoos?
The extinction of humanity is guaranteed if we invent ASI.
The only way to prevent the extinction of humanity is never to invent ASI.
Unfortunately, the business friendly Republican Party is against all regulations.
Elon Musk has famously said that by default all regulations should be removed unless there is a compelling need to put them back.
It is very unlikely that a ban on ASI will be put by the US government.
We, the people, have to find a way of stopping the AI industry from building ASI.
Then there is the next problem - Global Warming.
Instead of cooling the planet back to its normal temperature, the world leaders have decided to heat it even more to the worst maximum temperature that is just a little below what could kill us all.
The world leaders are risking mass extinction of humanity by letting the temperature rise close to the tipping point beyond which there could be runaway global warming caused by the thawing of permafrost.
There is only one and only one solution for global warming - remove all the CO2 the world has dumped since the dawn of the Industrial Age by using Carbon Dioxide Removal ( CDR ) technology.
Unfortunately, the world governments do not have the money for CDR because they are all broke and under heavy national debt.

The developers of AI have no interest in making you rich. On the contrary, they are the ones who will ruin your life by making you jobless beggars fighting for handouts from the government.
Why should they care? The free market follows Milton Friedman's doctrine - the only social responsibility of a business is to increase its profits.
The tech billionaires like Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, and other extremely rich people are trying to become even more extremely rich by developing AI.
Even Bill Gates is only paying lip service to the problems that AI would create. Simply admitting that AI could be risky does not absolve you of the responsibility of making sure people do not suffer because of AI.
This means that you are on your own. Don't expect your government to take money from the rich and give it to you to live a life of luxury without your having to work at all.
Some have proposed such a solution called Universal Basic Income ( UBI ).
The tax cut friendly US Republican Party is not likely to heavily tax the rich to pay for UBI.
If collecting taxes were that easy, the US would not have a national debt of $36 trillion and growing at over $1 trillion per year.
Why would the rich who will be producing all the goods want to pay heavy taxes for the jobless to live a life of luxury? It seems so unfair. The US is ideologically opposed to communism. UBI is Karl Marxism on steroids.

We believe we can create super-intelligent AI with an IQ a million times that of Einstein. We believe we can terraform Mars, make it habitable for humans, send a million people to live on it, all within a century. But we all believe it would be impossible to restore the normal temperature of our own planet within a century.
Why?
Because the global warming narrative is being controlled by the losers who have declared that preventing global warming would be impossible. We can only limit global warming.
It is like a doctor telling his patient with a fever of 105 degrees that he cannot restore the normal body temperature. The best he can do is limit the temperature rise to less than 108 degrees. The patient would have to adapt to living with high fever forever.

It is beyond the pay grade of most politicians to make informed decisions about difficult technical subjects.
For example, many states in the US want to ban the use of mRNA vaccines. Are politicians even capable of understanding what mRNA is?

In fact, we would not even need human level intelligence for most repetitive jobs, if all we need is to improve human productivity.
As they say, whatever can be imagined can be done. We should be able to do what was done in the movie Matrix where a person could download a program to one's brain to instantly acquire a new skill.
We could build a standardized neural network architecture for all humanoids. A humanoid could acquire a new skill just by downloading the weights into the neural network.
In fact, the industrial robots already work this way. The many robotic arms on a production line are identical but programmed to do different tasks at different stages of the production line.
Think of how humans work.
If you are a chef, you tell your assistant to chop vegetables, say onions. It is a repetitive task which does not require human level intelligence. The humanoid robot can download a program for chopping onions. When carrots have to be chopped, it could download a program for chopping carrots, and so on.
You could easily increase productivity by a factor of 10 by having such humanoids with very little skill.
If the Foundation owns the entire AI industry, it would only sell its services to companies with a 3 day weekend,
As the efficiency of AI improves, AI services will only be sold to companies with a 4 day weekend, and ultimately only to companies with a 5 day weekend. This would ensure that too many people are not out of job as AI workers take over more and more jobs.
The productivity gains will result in increasing the leisure time for everyone.
The collective financial power of consumers far exceeds that of any billionaire, corporation, or the richest nation.
So, how can we, the people, own the entire AI industry?
It is incredibly simple.
It can be done by using our power as consumers, as follows.
You should all stop using every single Chatbot. If your employer forces you to use AI, go on strike.
Stop clicking on Ads. That would kill the revenue of Meta, Google, and X. These are the major companies in the AI field. You could download software which automatically removes Ads from websites.
Use the search engine of the Foundation designed only for searching products and services.
Unsubscribe all Ad emails, and only accept emails from all businesses thorough the mail service of the Foundation. As explained earlier, the sender has to pay for sending a message through the service. If a business only wants to use free email service, boycott that business.
Voluntarily watch as many Ads as possible on the Foundation's App while paying full attention, as described under " How It Works".
Only buy products with "Save The Planet Foundation" logo on it. The Foundation will get a cut in the revenue of Foundation branded products.
If everyone stops using Chatbots, the AI companies will have zero revenue. All AI companies will go into bankruptcy.

Even if the profit of the Foundation is a few hundred billion dollars per year, it could get a loan from the banks based on a guaranteed revenue stream. There is no need to have $1 trillion in cash to buy a $1 trillion industry.

The defense industrial complex or the oil industry must have been behind the Iraq war. The WMD scare was manufactured to fool the US public.
The climate industrial complex has convinced everyone that electric cars, solar panels, weatherizing of homes, buying induction ovens instead of gas stoves, and so on will solve the global warming problem. It won't.

Our paperclip robots know that everyone in the world will become a jobless beggar because AGI workers will be able to do every job better than humans and might cost just a few cents an hour.
They also know that ASI will exterminate humanity.
But they don't care how many people lose their livelihood, or their lives.
They believe that someone else should solve the problem created by their technology, just as the fossil fuel industry thinks that it is the governments that should solve the problem created by their defective product.
It is not for the paperclip robots to solve the problem of feeding the beggars created by their technology just as it was not the problem of Sackler family to solve the addiction problem.
Just as the Sackler family did not care how many people were dying, the AI developers do not care if people become beggars and starve, or are ultimately fed into the meat grinders by ASI.
They know that their technology would create a world of extreme scarcity because everyone will be jobless. But they have convinced everyone that it will create a world of extreme prosperity. How? They have no answer.
How unfortunate that everyone has bought into this con job.
The public is so brainwashed that they will argue with you that AI will create a world of abundance.

If you ask the paperclip robots about the problem of people losing jobs, they give you a convoluted answer which makes no sense.

Eric Schmidt, the ex-CEO of Google, when asked for advice on what the kids in high school should do to prepare for the world of AI, his response was laughable.
His advice was to solve problems like climate change and energy production using AI.
Eric Schmidt believes that AI is under hyped. Meaning that the valuation of AI companies is still too low. After all, he has to sell his AI stock to you.
He believes that ASI is about 10 years away.
If so, AGI must be just a few years away. Would all jobs not disappear within a few years? But he doesn't want to talk about that. He says that in the next few years the number of jobs will increase.
So what? How is it even relevant to talk about the number of jobs in the next few years if all jobs will ultimately disappear a few years later.
We do not know if Eric Shmidt is genuinely super-stupid like Nick Bostrom's paperclip AI, or gaslighting us. There could be another explanation. According to Yuval Noah Harari, higher intelligence beings tend to be more delusional.
In any case, expecting high school students to solve the climate problem, one of the most difficult problems humanity is facing, is laughable to say the least.
Here is how Jensen Huang , the CEO of Nvidia answered the question on 60 minutes about people losing jobs.
Question.: What about the worker?
Answer: Workers work for companies. And so companies when they become more productive, earnings increase. I have not seen one company that had earnings increase and not hire more people."
The general public is not able to see the stupidity in his answer because they believe that a billionaire cannot be stupid.
Once again, we cannot say if Jansen Huang is genuinely super-stupid just like Nick Bostrom's paperclip AI, or if he is simply gaslighting the public.
Here is the stupidity in his answer.
First of all, his very premise that companies hire more workers because their earnings increase is false. Companies hire more workers because the demand for their product increases.
But let us believe his false premise that when earnings increase a company will hire more workers.
If the earnings increase by replacing expensive human workers with cheap AI workers, would companies not hire more AI workers? Why would they hire the more expensive human workers?
Jansen Huang is not willing to admit that AI will cause loss of jobs.
Then he was asked a second question.
Question: There are some jobs that are going to get obsolete.
Answer : Let me offer it this way. I believe that you still want humans in the loop. Because we have the judgement and there are circumstances that the machines are just not going to understand.
Here, he is truly gaslighting. The very promise of AGI is that it will be able to do every job better than humans. So, why is he saying that humans have the judgement and there are circumstances that the machines are just not going to understand?
And here is what Mark Zuckerberg said about loss of jobs.
"It is a common belief that the people have that clearly it is just going to automate jobs and that jobs are going to go away. That has really not been how the history of technology has worked."
How is history relevant? If every single job can be done by AI workers costing just a few cents an hour, and better than humans, why would any company employ human workers?

We can achieve the promise of AI overnight. Why do we need AI?

The obvious reason was that Microsoft was ahead of everyone in AI technology because of its investment in OpenAI. So, he made so many excuses as to why a pause is not a good idea. He was not honest enough to admit that he would not want Microsoft to lose its lead.

He had the opportunity to lead the entire Industry to first solve the problem of AI producing completely wrong results.
The AI industry was fooling the public by calling the wrong results as hallucinations as if there is a person sitting inside the data center.
He joined the other fraudsters who were brainwashing the public that the Chatbots are like humans indulging in cheating, lying, hallucinations, and other human characteristics when in fact the paperclip robots were simply anthropomorphising.
He could have also led the effort of solving the problem of everyone becoming a beggar.
But his interest was in increasing his wealth, even at the cost of making everyone in the world a beggar, let alone helping everyone become a millionaire, or at least more prosperous.

AI is a software running on the same exact CPU and GPU that is used in a computer. If there is an "it", it is the CPU and the GPU faithfully executing instructions given by the programmer.
If you get a wrong result, it is because of the instructions or the data given to it by the programmer. The CPU and GPU do not add or subtract instructions.
If the programmer asks the CPU to toss a coin to decide what to do next, it will do so. If tossing a coin ends up producing a wrong result, it is not the fault of the CPU.
In fact, this is exactly what the AI software does. That is why you never get the same result using the same exact prompt again.
To say that it is a black box is also a lie. You can instruct the software to keep a copy of every single instruction it is executing. If things go wrong, you can trace all the steps that were executed. This is how computer software is debugged, and this is how the black box in an airplane can tell what happened before the crash.
If Microsoft cannot understand its own product, why is it selling the product?
So, who is actually hallucinating, cheating, and lying are the AI companies, not the the CPU and GPU which produce the result.

If people are convinced that the engineers are working on a technology that will put their children into the meat grinders, they would want to kill the engineers before their technology is able to kill their children just as Israel killed the Iranian scientists before they were able to make a nuclear bomb.
It so happens that many of the engineers are immigrants. The current narrative is that the immigrants are bad people poisoning the blood of America. Under such environment the immigrant engineers will be at even greater risk of being killed.

Remember how people stormed the Capitol on January 6 because they believed that the election was stolen. This was when only half the US population believed that the election was stolen.

Further, suppose it is true that upside is three orders of magnitude higher compared to downside. That means the upside is a 1000 times more than downside.
We know that the downside is that everyone will become a jobless beggar.
So, what is a thousand times better upside? That everyone will get Universal Beggars Income?
And there is another downside. Ultimately, AI will feed humans into the meat grinder. What is the upside?
We will discover all the laws of physics before being fed into the meat grinders?
In fact, Peter doesn't even believe that there will be a job loss created by AI.
Wise men think alike, and so do the stupid.
He also gives the same exact answer which all the other paperclip robots mentioned above have given about job loss. That it has never happened in the past when technology took away people's jobs. So, it will not happen.
